he history of Astrology is long and full of complexity. The origins can be traced back to the Sumerians and Babylonians around 3000 BC. Astrology has unfairly taken a credibility hit over the years, especially in the west where blanketed, watered down horoscope readings caused many to lose faith in its legitimacy.

Hopefully, you have been following my content and now know that EVERYTHING is made up of energy and we are ONE with EVERYTHING. Therefore, yes! The planets absolutely carry unique energies, and our oneness with "All that is" tells us that we are absolutely interconnected with those energies.
Through your astrological birth chart, also referred to as your natal chart, you gain deep insight into your personality, your relationships, your life goals and major life events. Your natal chart is a snapshot of where the planets were at the moment of your birth. It's important to note that you need to know your exact birth time and city for your chart to be most accurate. I also want to clarify that while astrology can give you detailed insights into your personality and the themes you chose to explore in this life; it is not a there to control you in any shape, way or form. Remember, NOTHING can control you, unless you agree to be controlled. You ALWAYS have free will. Think of Astrology as the blueprint for what your soul wants to explore and transform in this life.

To give you an idea of what you are looking at when you pull up your astrology chart, natal charts look like a wheel. It contains the twelve zodiac signs on the outer ring which correspond to the twelve major constellations in our sky. Each sign carries a unique energy that lends itself to certain personality traits. You will also see the numbers 1-12 on an inner ring, corresponding to what looks like 12 slices of pie. These are referred to as the 12 houses. Each house is associated with the energy of certain aspects of life such as relationships and careers. Within these houses you will see the various planets as they were the moment you were born. The houses tell you in what way the energy of the planets will show up in your life.
There is a lot more that goes into reading your chart. As you will notice there are a lot of aspects. The aspects are where you find more details and intricacies to your life and personality. As much as I love astrology and use it in my every day, reading charts can be very time consuming and I simply can't commit that time right now, as my focus is on my blog and Mandy's Treehouse. As time allows, I am working on putting together "The Observatory" which will be a page offering all the information needed to read a chart, as well as daily horoscopes, and upcoming astrological events. In the meantime, there is a wealth of information through various astrologers on YouTube, or you could simply Google it. I would just caution you that there are definitely imposters out there as well as generic and sometimes outright false AI narratives. You need to be aware of potential misinformation and money grabs.
